What Can You Do?

Sorry, I can’t buy.
Belittled you,
when I was youth.
A foolish question;

What can you do?

To illustrate,
to convey,
a sorry,
is what at least.

Dream dies.

I understand,
hurled wasn’t at me,
claimer shouldn’t be me,
a fool had said,

What can you do?

Look at me,
this is me,
saying sorry,
for what I did.

To my own foolishness,
I would apologize.
to my own question,
I would answer,

Dear teacher,
You had done this,
You shaped me!
Now, I would ask,

What else you can’t do?

(Tuck-Mun Tang, 2011)
